Mission
The mission of Annwn Matari (the umbrella name for all our corps) is to be a premier organization for mature, thoughtful, and focused individuals who value competitive online play within a structure catering to working adults. The main goal is to have fun, it’s a game that we all pay to play, so this is key. We are open to any player who meet our requirements (outlined below) who is 18 years and older and is friendly and will fit in. We recruit only players who have a paid account, trial accounts are not accepted.

Principles
1: Enjoyable Gaming. We are a gaming group dedicated to older members. We advertise to the working, studying, family oriented gamer that doesn't have time for meaningless e-peen measuring, megalomaniacal leaders, nor rampant juvenile stupidity. We offer a reasonably clean (coughcough) environment of good, solid people. We do specify a minimum age of 18 to enter the corporation but exceptions can be made if a justification is demonstrated.

2: Real Life Comes First. We realize for some hardcore gamers real life is what you have to do between gaming sessions to pay for electricity. Our focus is a little different; we encourage and want our members to take care of: the job, the home, and the children, and when extra time is available have fun with us. We are very understanding and tolerant of people's real lives and will make any reasonable accommodation to help.

3: Leaders that Listen. As adults, we want our voice heard, we want our say in decisions and that need is not only respected but requested. Most decisions are made in open discussion with members, which is why being in the right channels is key. In the rare event of a decision that is pressing, urgent, or critical, are made by the leaders and whoever is on-line at the time. Responsibility comes with authority, but as adults we discuss everything that can be discussed.

4: Openness. We like our members to come up with ideas and actively encourage them bring new ideas to the group as a whole. In fact, our governance style thrives on it. Our core committment is that games are escape from the hassles of the real world, a place to have fun. If you can think of a way to enhance the gameplay, tell us.

5: A Player's Community. The primary goal in any online gaming group is to have fun and to do that we must know our members. We ask everyone to use in game contact methods or, if out of game for a time, the forums, so as to participate in the community. We are a family of friends after all, and its good to talk.
